蜜桃视频 University Fashion Merchandising students will escort canine models down the red carpet as they strut their stuff at the Erie Humane Society鈥檚 (EHS) Mutt Gala. The annual fundraiser, the EHS鈥檚 take on the Met Gala, is Saturday, April 27, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Bayfront Convention Center.

Besides escorting the dogs in their show attire down the runway, students in Erin Magorien鈥檚 Fashion Entrepreneurship course have designed festive t-shirts that they will be selling at the event.

鈥淭he Fashion Merchandising Department is again overjoyed to be working with such wonderful people in support of an outstanding cause,鈥 Magorien said.

This year鈥檚 student volunteers include Rachel Ahrens, Margaret Apen, Elizabeth Appiah, Riana Booher, Jonah Borczon, Samantha Ellenberger, Eliot Fuhrman, Hannah Hochadel, Trevor Kinnear, Isabella Merry, Anna Micale, Tori Miller, Kayleiana Rhodes, Erinlyn Swarm, Kathleen Tarlo, Chassadi Waite, and Vanessa Watson.

The guests of honor, approximately 17 dogs, from a graceful toy Chihuahua to a听majestic Great Pyrenees, will model and mingle throughout the evening.

This year鈥檚 sold-out event marks the third annual, and it promises to be more entertaining than ever, with a record 600 guests anticipated, according to Executive Director Nicole Leone. As a no-kill shelter serving the Erie community for 130 years, EHS spends tens of thousands of dollars on outpatient medical care to ensure that each pet residing at EHS has an opportunity to lead a good life. Proceeds from the popular fundraiser benefit the Outpatient Medical Fund.
