Mike Bogart is an adjunct instructor of intelligence studies at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ University. Mike teaches INTL 510, INTL 520, and INTL 540 at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ. Mike also works as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), teaching undergraduate courses for the Criminal Justice and Investigative Forensics Department. Courses taught at UMGC include Digital Forensics in the Criminal Justice System and Introduction to Security Management.Â
Mike currently works for a defense technology firm, leading Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) and workplace violence programs, as well as supporting counterintelligence and security investigation functions. Mike has held previous positions as threat manager (embedded consultant), head of North America's Intelligence, chief intelligence analyst, senior border security intelligence analyst, and business consultant for various MNCs, specialized security companies, and a global risk and strategic consulting firm.
Mike is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), InfraGard, the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), and the Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC). Mike currently holds certifications as a Certified Threat Manager (CTM) from ATAP; a Global Counter Insider Threat Professional (GCITP) as recognized via the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSDI&S) and the University of Maryland; as well as a certified Social Media Intelligence Analyst (SMIA).
